Venice Pavilion Biennale 2024
On the occasion of the 60th International Art Exhibition - Biennale Arte 2024, Martina Vidal Venezia participated as a technical partner in the setting up of the Venice Pavilion, entitled "HOME SEXTANT" ("Sestante Domestico").
Between poetry and painting, artwork and exhibition space, we shaped Franco Arminio's poetry with embroidery and Burano lace. "We are honored to have contributed to the installation project of the Venice Pavilion, which needed to depict a poem and tell the meaning of home. Through the creation of a custom-made canvas, personalized in the choice of fabric and in the particularity of the embroidery, we felt part of an artistic and cultural project that had from the beginning the goal of expressing what it means to feel at home, to be in a context in which it is possible to orient oneself and move around, despite the time and frenzy of our everyday life."
Attention to custom design and service confronts us every day with the customer's need and desire to find uniqueness, quality and wonder. Therefore, we propose products that are able to excite, to give security and a sense of belonging to a process made of conscious choices, linked to tradition and craftsmanship but that know how to look to the future and to beauty as a quality capable of satisfying the soul.
The embroidered poetry:
We are in need
of a place: it calls for
a hand,
a house, a smile,
something we can make into a perimeter.
—F. Arminio
